Donna Payley

Mrs Donna Payley

Acting Chair

I love to feel part of the Yew Tree family, as a parent, a volunteer and also as a governor. I feel I have been able to use my own experiences to help support the school and they are listened to. It is a great honour to be able to be a governor and is a role that I relish. I am always proud to say that my children have thrived at the school and, more importantly, loved being there.

Mrs Collette Eccleston

Mrs Collette Eccleston

Vice Chair

I am honoured to be elected as parent governor at Tudor Grange Academy Yew Tree. I have two children, both of whom attend the school.

As a parent, I have watched my children thrive at Yew tree and also been part of the changes the school have undertaken in recent years. The ethos at Yew Tree is one in a million and I am passionate about making sure the strong core values that made me choose Yew Tree for my children continue to grow.

I believe every child should have the opportunity to learn in a happy, safe environment and want to be part of ensuring the parent / carer voice is heard and relationships between us and the school remain strong, giving our children the best possible education.

Mrs Rajneet Bloomfield

Mrs Rajneet Bloomfield

I graduated from Homerton College, University of Cambridge with a B.Ed (Hons) English with Education degree in 2002. Since then, I have graduated from Warwick University with a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation and I have successfully achieved the National Professional Qualification for Headship award. I am proud of the reputation that I have developed as a talented classroom teacher and as a senior leader with a broad range of experience and a thorough understanding of pupils’ learning, progress and age-related expectations from EYFS to Key Stage 2. I am external Key Stage 1 lead moderator for the local authority and an active member of the Solihull Healthy Schools Quality Assurance Group. I welcome strong governance and have experience of actively supporting the governing body to deliver its functions effectively at Yew Tree since 2009. I am driven, ambitious, excited and keen to further develop the success of our wonderful school.

David Ashmore

Mr David Ashmore

I’ve been a yew tree governor since 2011 and all three of my children have attended (youngest still there) this great, family school. My particular interest is ensuring that our school strives to be the best academically as well as being a welcoming environment where children can thrive and enjoy learning.

Mr Jayesh Chauhan

Mr Jayesh Chauhan

I have been a governor since 2017 and have 2 children at the School. It’s both pleasure and honour to serve as a governor and have the opportunity to use my legal and management knowledge, skills and experience to help meet the expectations of children, parents, carers, local authority and other interested bodies in the delivery of education and social skills to all the children at the school.

It is great to feel and be part of the Yew Tree family and as a governor it has given me the chance to give something back to the school which cares and offers so much to its children. This is a school which is passionate about its ethos and values and is constantly evolving and developing and this has earned it the excellent reputation it deserves because of the hard work of everyone who contributes to its success.

Miss Claire Greenhouse

I have been a parent governor since 2018 both my daughters attended the school, youngest is still there. The school is like one big family and I am privileged to be a part of that. As a parent I have watched my daughters thrive at Yew Tree. The communication between parents, carers and the school is brilliant and voices are always heard.

Peter John

Mr Peter John

I am a Governor of 20 years standing. All four of my Children received their Primary Education at Yew Tree.

I believe that Education is the single most important ingredient in the development of The Individual, Our Local Community, Our Country and Global Human Culture.

Miss Beverley Khosla

Miss Beverley Khosla

I am fortunate to have two teaching roles within Tudor Grange Primary Academy Trust, the first being, EYFS Lead at Yew Tree and the second, EYFS Trust Lead for the Academy.

I am extremely passionate about Early Years and most of my career has been spent teaching the very young and supporting them with the start of their educational learning journey.

I am very much in support of developing the whole child and to build upon foundations for a happy, confident, independent individual who feels proud of all their achievements whilst striving to maintain high standards of care and education for the benefit of all children.
