Happiness Calendar for Families

During the summer, here is a fun activity you can do. Write a postcard to your new teacher/s in September telling them about something you have been doing over the six weeks holiday. Bring it back with you on your first day. They will love to hear about what you have been getting up to!

Creative Curriculum in Year 6

Important things to remember:

  • PE is on Tuesday. Please make sure you have your P.E. kit in school everyday in case of any changes or additional sessions.
  • Our library day is Friday.
  • Outdoor Education is on Tuesday.

Homework:

Homework portfolios are sent home on a half termly basis. Children are expected to read weekly and use Mathletics.

Please don’t forget additional revision sheets and sample tests are available from a red folder in the classroom.

Spellings:

Spellings will be tested on a Friday morning  with Mrs Tomlinson or Mrs Whing. Spellings are sent home at the start of the term and are tested in the form of a dictation.
