Year 2 have had a wonderful start to the new academic year. The children have been very excited to get to know their new teacher- Mrs Precious Li. They have done some lovely writing about themselves and their families. 

In Science, the children have been thinking about things that are alive, we’re once alive and have never been alive and working out the difference between these 3 groups. They then went out for a walk around school and the field and found objects to fit into each category. 

In R.E, the children have been learning about Matthew, the tax collector, and how he became one of Jesus’ Disciples. They were thinking about how Matthew might have felt when Jesus asked him to become one of his disciples and created some beautiful writing about this.
