Year 1 have been investigating one of our five senses – touch. We learned that our skin helps us to feel different textures, temperatures and shapes.

We reached into bags without looking and use of sense of touch to describe what we felt. The children used fantastic describing words and made predictions about what the object might be.

Next we stepped into trays filled with different materials. We talked about how each one felt under out feet.
