Today, the children engaged in a bead-threading activity to create their own necklaces. This hands-on task encouraged fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and patience, as they carefully selected and threaded beads onto string. It was wonderful to observe how deeply focused the children were throughout the process. They remained engaged for an extended period, demonstrating perseverance and pride in their creations. As we worked, we shared thoughts about our favourite colours and preferences, sparking joyful conversations and helping to build social connections. This added a personal touch to each necklace and gave insight into each child’s individuality.
