Rowan Class have made an excellent start to phonics. The children are showing lots of interest in learning new sounds which has been wonderful to see. One of their favourite games during choosing time is playing teachers!

It’s lovely to see how they enjoy practising together and asking each other about what’s sounds they can hear. I have also been impressed by how the children have been persevering with blending sounds into words. A great start to their reading journey!
