In Acorn Class, we have been learning to use five frames to help us count objects accurately. The children have enjoyed playing a fun game with a die, competing against their peers to see who could be the first to fill their five frame and win. Alongside this, we have been exploring shapes by building towers and talking about the names and properties of the shapes we used. These activities have helped us develop our counting skills, understand number patterns, and use mathematical language to describe and compare shapes.
