Our Year 2 class had a wonderful time exploring the great outdoors at Forest School! The children were full of excitement as they set off, ready to learn, play, and discover nature in a whole new way.

🌿 Forest School Rules

Before the fun began, everyone learned the three golden rules of Forest School:

• No Pick – We respect nature by leaving plants and flowers where they grow.
• No Lick – We keep ourselves safe by never tasting anything we find outdoors.
• Be Careful with Your Stick – Sticks can be useful tools, but we must carry them safely and use them responsibly.

These simple rules helped the children stay safe while enjoying their adventure.

🔎 Treasure Hunt Fun

The highlight of the afternoon was a treasure hunt! The children searched high and low, looking under logs, around trees, and through the leaves to find natural treasures. From shiny stones to interesting leaves and twigs, their collections showed just how observant and curious they were.

🎨 Nature-Inspired Artwork

After gathering their treasures, the children used them to create beautiful pieces of forest artwork. Leaves became patterns, sticks turned into frames, and stones added texture. It was amazing to see how their imaginations transformed simple natural objects into creative masterpieces.
