Yesterday, our Year 6 children took a walk to Solihull Hospital, excited to perform and raise money for a very worthy cause.

The children sang a selection of songs from their upcoming production of Peter Pan in the hospital’s main reception area. Their enthusiasm, confidence and beautiful singing quickly captured the attention of staff, patients and visitors passing through. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as people stopped to listen and enjoy the performance.

The children were fantastic ambassadors for our school. They sang with energy, expression and confidence, creating a positive atmosphere and bringing a little extra joy to everyone who heard them.

Thanks to the generosity of those who donated, we raised an incredible £137.71. We are delighted that Howden’s Solihull has agreed to match fund this amount, bringing our total donation to £275.42 for the children’s ward at Solihull Hospital.

I was incredibly proud of every child who took part. Not only did they perform brilliantly, but they also demonstrated kindness, community spirit and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Their voices sounded amazing and, if yesterday’s performance was anything to go by, next week’s production of Peter Pan promises to be absolutely spectacular!
