Moving our Bodies
The children had a fantastic time taking part in our scarves and parachute play session today. Working together, they used their gross motor skills to lift, shake and wave the parachute and scarves while singing songs, dancing and enjoying movement activities with their friends.

The children showed excellent teamwork and cooperation as they worked together to lift the teddies and balls high into the air on top of the parachute, watching them bounce and fly before carefully catching them again. Through this fun and engaging activity, they developed their coordination, balance, spatial awareness and upper body strength while learning to follow instructions and move in time with others.
Parachute play also encouraged important social skills, including turn-taking, communication and working collaboratively as part of a group. It was lovely to see the children sharing smiles, laughter and excitement as they explored movement and play together. Well done, everyone!
