On Friday 25th September, our Year 5 and 6 pupils were delighted to take part in the Solihull Food and Harvest Festival 2026, joining a wonderful programme of performances from schools and community groups across the borough.

In preparation for the event, the children worked incredibly hard to learn a range of harvest, food and autumn-themed songs. Their enthusiasm and commitment during rehearsals paid off, and they delivered a fantastic performance on the day.

It was wonderful to see so many of our families and members of the wider community come along to support us. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience of performing on a real stage, complete with microphones, and rose to the occasion brilliantly. Their confidence shone through as they sang, and their voices could be heard loud and clear throughout the venue.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to showcase their talents, represent the school and celebrate the harvest season with the local community. We were incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves and the positive feedback they received from those in attendance.
