Today, Year 3 enjoyed an exciting tri-golf session! We learned how to use a putter correctly, focusing carefully on where to place our hands and feet to improve our accuracy. The children listened brilliantly and tried hard to apply these techniques throughout the session.

Working in teams, we rotated around a series of fun mini games designed to develop our aim and technique. It was fantastic to see everyone practising their skills and showing real determination to improve.

Miss Rowlands was especially impressed by the excellent team spirit on display. Children encouraged one another whether they hit the target or not, and they took the time to congratulate both their teammates and others. This positive attitude made the session even more enjoyable for everyone involved!

Well done, Year 3 – you should be very proud of yourselves! We look forward to improving our golfing skills next half term.
