Year 5 are currently enjoying choosing books to read from their class library. They are able to look on our ‘Bookflix’ account and select books from the recommended reading lists. Jackson has recently read ‘The Light Jar’ by Lisa Thompson. He said that it was ‘an enjoyable book that was quite mysterious.’ Aysel has recently read ‘Black Beauty’ by Anna Sewell, she said ‘I really enjoyed it and it was interesting.’

Our REAL read text at the moment is ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’. Year 5 are enjoying reading books by the author Michael Morpurgo and we have a section in our class library where they can borrow his books.
