In Year 3, we have been studying the work by artist L.S Lowry. In our most recent lesson, we used different pieces of card, wallpaper and paper to create a city scape. We had to cut out shapes of houses and factories and we layered these to create the illusion that the buildings were built behind one another. We will be working in our next lesson to add more detail.

Zara – ‘I thought this lesson was fun because it was something different and new’

Gasser – ‘I liked that we had to cut the buildings out and I liked adding detail at the end’

Heidi – ‘I liked sticking down my buildings and using different materials’
