On an extremely cold day Year 2 bravely ventured out for their games lesson in P.E.

After starting off with a brisk walk to complete the daily mile the children soon got into the lesson. The bright sunshine was an added bonus as the class worked energetically through a range of skills.

The focus was to maintain eye contact with the tennis ball as partners worked together to roll the ball to each other, accurately.

Using two hands to catch, moving your feet quickly to intercept the ball and tracking the movement of the ball were all skills that were practiced.
