In Jigsaw Acorn children have been learning about keep healthy by exercising. They had to find their heart beats and think of exercises we could do which would raise our heart beat. The children thought of jogging, skipping, running, star jumps and push ups. They were really good ideas which we then tried out and we can confirm they did raise our heartbeat. We also had to find parts of our body, such as our elbow, ankle, tummy, back, cheek, ears and this game was very fun as we got to dance to music too!

In science we had to rescue the animals from the ice, we tried using little hammers, tweezers and spoons – these were all ideas suggested by the children. Emily then decided we could try some water, the children were given cold and warm water to experiment with. The conclusion was that warm water melted the ice quicker than cold. We had so much fun and we managed to rescue all of the animals.
