This week we have been learning about length πŸ“

Today we took turns drawing around each other and encouraged our peers to predict, using mathematical language long, short, tall, big or small, who would be the biggest and smallest in the group. The dragonflies stood in a line first and one by one they looked at each friend to make their predictions.

Using the multi link cubes we then looked at how many cubes we would need to match the children’s height/length. The Dragonflies worked very hard as a team to help one another add more cubes if needed.
